Le Rouge & le Blanc at the 36th paulée de Chartres

This new edition of the Paulée des vins de Loire, masterfully organized by the Jallerat family, brought together around 200 people: winemakers, restaurateurs, wine merchants and journalists. Thierry Max imagined the menu with Nicolas Mendès under the presidency of Olivier Poussier who commented on the food-wine pairing with, sometimes, interventions by Jacques Puisais. Each vintner came to explain his work.This opportunity allows exchanges between the guests. Thus we learned that more and more vine growers of Bourgueil were planting chenin (there are already some areas) and the estate Lamé-Delille-Boucard passed in organic farming.
